5 Handbags That Are Worth The Splurge!

Time to discuss one of my favorite topics: my handbag collection 😅. I’ve seen some of the fashion girlies give reviews on their top 5 handbags, and it inspired me to assess my own collection. So without further ado, here are my top 5 handbags that are totally worth the purchase!
1. ) Hermes Birkin 25
First up on the list is my Hermes Birkin 25, which is a showstopper just from her color and hue alone! The exterior color of the bag is called Verso Vert Verone; whereas the interior is a beautiful Rose Lipstick. She’s top two, and not number two, simply because of her uniqueness through and through. I’ve yet to come across a Birkin with this same color combination. The practicality, durability, and timelessness of Hermes bags leaves her as the top contender. For those interested, I found her in person at WhatGoesAroundComesAround NYC (a luxury consignment and pre-loved shop) in 2022.
2. ) Louis Vuitton Monogram Miroir Lockit Silver
Up next, we have the Monogram Miroir Lockit Silver Bag by Louis Vuitton. Although she came on the scene back in 2007, this bag still screams “It Girl” moment to me! She’s eye-catching, detailed, and so interesting to look at. I also love how practical this bag is for every-day use. The top-handle just makes it so easy to grab-and-go. I’ve definitely gotten my cost-per-wear since adding her to the collection. I found her at a boutique store in Paris, but linked a few options below from Fashionphile.
3. ) YSL Lambskin Quilted Maxi Icare Shopping Tote
If you’ve been following me for some time, then this next handbag shouldn’t come as a surprise because she’s my all-time favorite! The Saint Laurent Maxi Icare Shopping Tote is, and will forever be, in my top 3 handbags of all time; it’s THAT serious! From the versatility and style, to the quality and size, this tote checks all of the boxes. At this point, she has become my designated travel bag; always adding the perfect elevation to any airport look! The texture of the print is so soft AND durable. 4. ) CHRISTIAN DIOR Velvet Nylon Pom Pom Saddle Bag Black
Coming in at number 4 is my very unique, one-of-a-kind Dior Velvet Nylon Pom Pom Saddle Bag! Everyone loves a classic Dior Saddle, but this one just takes the cake if you ask me! I love handbags that have a unique flair, which is why this vintage, all-black saddle stole my heart when I first saw her online at Treasures of NYC. Not only is she super distinct and detailed, but I feel like this particular style matches my personality so well. It’s super durable and can easily dress an outfit up or down.
5. ) Chanel Vintage Medium Flap from Fashionphile
Rounding out the list is my one-and-only Chanel Vintage Medium Classic Flap in red 😍. From first sight, you would never guess she was made in 1986! From the 24 carrot gold hardware, to the shape and structure…she is perfection! I searched high and low for an all red vintage classic Chanel flap and finally found one on Fashionphile back in 2019. I linked a few pre-loved options below.
